ASW Contest: Derelict Shed
When walking in the countryside in the east of The Netherlands, I often come across old sheds and other small buildings that have been abandoned; most sit in the middle of fields.

It's not always clear what purpose they once served; in this case, it could be an old milking station or just a shed. It's also not clear why they have been left alone instead of having been removed a long time ago.

I do know, because I asked, that in one instance the building was kept because it had been built by the current farmer's great-grandfather, and he just couldn't bring himself to demolishing it.

I like to think that is also the reason for this little building's survival:
