At least, that's what I thought initially when I saw this tree, but it turned out the red bits are young leaves: *Olympus Stylus 1s, 95mm, ISO200, f5.6, 1/200s* Silly me. A bonus photo: some *forget-me-nots* (Myosotis sp.), *vergeet-mij-nietjes* in Dutch, I found nearby: *Olympus Stylus 1s, 42mm, ISO100, f8, 1/250s* There are dozens of species of this little plant, and most are native to western Eurasia and New Zealand, with a few species scattered over the Americas and Papua New Guinea. Garden escapees have conquered the rest of the world. Thanks for watching!
