### How was your weekend?

I just got the kidlets tucked away in their bed, and I'm sitting here thinking about how crazy it is that another weekend has already come and gone... I mean, really, where does the time go?! After some beautiful weather last week, we were slapped back to reality over the weekend, with Saturday being chilly and rainy and today being overcast and still a little cold. Is it just me, or does anyone else find it really difficult to find motivation when the weather snaps back like that? It's like my body started getting a dose of vitamin D and just shuts down/reverts back to hibernation mode at the first sign that it's been taken away. haha It wasn't a total loss though, since we did take the kids out yesterday for a bit of puddle jumping, and shopping today in preparation for little miss's birthday next weekend. 

I'll be prepping some stuff for her big day, including making some goodies for her party, and hopefully a mini photo shoot of the birthday girl, which I'll be sure to share soon!

I'm still working away on a few more character studies for my comic book, as well as playing around with some new watercolors I got for myself, so stay tuned for more art posts this week. I want to make those into longer posts, and show some process shots, so in keeping with my **SKETCHY SUNDAY** theme, today I'm just going to share a sketch from the old sketchbook, which as of yet hasn't made it any further than this, but I feel deserves a revisit at some point... a fanart drawing I did of [Dawn.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawn_(comics))
