No problems, I have stayed when I needed to do a project or repair.
Another advantage is they are usually in with, or close to  other retailers .

As always check to make sure there are no restrictions, they are usually posted in the lots.
Some towns and villages will restrict overnight parking because a campground owner thinks they are loosing revenue. (which is absurd, if it's not free I will keep going down the road until I find a friendly place. After all , we have wheels :)
