                                               **Lets begin with illustrator 2018**
Open your illustrator 2018 on your laptop. Select a new page of size A4 and then the sizes are spontaneously selected by default. Then you select the RBG color mode and 300dpi image resolution for better HD image. Then click the create button.

**Take a black box background and text of NEON**
Now select black background for neat vision. And then select the ''Quicksand font family'' and formulate what you want in Neon effect. After that, you then to the right swatches to choose the color there. The swatches are very cool when they apply to the text when you change it's color. Then its whole effect swiftly change it's color. Just hit on the swatches and then click on the color two times, immediately something will popup, after that you select the global and then the color changes.

**Now change the color of the copy**
When you finish copying, you simply change it's color from the ''color guide'' menu, same in the option of ''swatches''. And select the lighter color from the previous one.

**Now apply effects on NEON text**
The first thing to do is, simply click on the ''Effect menu''. Then go to the path and then choose the offset path. Now the pop-up menu emerges out in which the size of the offset is mentioned. Then you click the preview checkbox and then reduce the value of the offset as you can see the size of front text emerges in between lower text which is in back of it.

**Now stretch the appearance**
After stretching it, select the text which is dark cyan. Click on the ''Edit menu'' and take a copy of it.

**Now applying Gaussian blur form the effect menu**
Choose the Gaussian blur on the copy of the text up to 4 points, and then you click on the ''Edit menu'' and placed the copy of the text behind the first picture, after that it looks as if you apply the effects on it and then it changes, this is because you placed it at the back of it. After that the blur effects appears on its back as you can see below.
![IMAG0125.jpg](https://res.cloudinary.com/hpiynhbhq/image/upload/v1519388086/xvfnhuirv2xegoafovgs.jpg)
![IMAG0123.jpg](https://res.cloudinary.com/hpiynhbhq/image/upload/v1519388139/nqqitt4ujoqfvxamfktu.jpg)

**Applying the Gaussian to upper text**
Now click the upper text and then go to the ''Effect Menu'' and click the Gaussian blur and in the same way you apply it one more time on the upper text and this time you have to set the worth up to 1.6 points to give you the perfect Neon effect.
![IMAG0131.jpg](https://res.cloudinary.com/hpiynhbhq/image/upload/v1519388561/dukmc1muhcyoeiebgxcv.jpg)
**This is how your it will look**
Now your NEON effect is ready as you can see bellow
![IMAG0132.jpg](https://res.cloudinary.com/hpiynhbhq/image/upload/v1519388681/uq13yme21cdwvn3o7dwy.jpg)
**Now i will show you the importance of swatches i mentioned earlier**
As you can see that there are three copies of NEON text that you have created so far, to complete the whole effect. You simply click on the swatches and change the color of the text, after that the three colors are changed.
For example, lets say i choose Magenta, by so doing, it automatically turns to Magenta color, by clicking the swatch menu.
