Title: **BW pests**

The most common potato pest is the Colorado potato bug. Last year we had no problems with this infestation, but we certainly lost most of the potatoes due to the extremely hot summer. Unlike last year, this year there are too many of them, and most of them are in the larval stage. Hundreds of these bright red larvae feed on potato leaves. Slowly climbing to the top of the plant and flower.

Since the weather is unstable with daily showers, thunder and strong winds, we are unable to effectively apply any insecticide, so we are left to fight this pest manually. Every day I remove about 50 larvae from the leaves of the potato plants, which appear again tomorrow in almost the same number. I hope that we will be able to preserve this year's crop, at least part of it.
