Had this message in my heart since last week and i will keep it short, really. I just want to drive home a simple point and i pray Holy Spirit interprets it better in our hearts.

God is always looking for reasons to bless us. His help and the blessing for us, has never been about what we have done right, no, but about what He has done already for us, through Jesus. He is aware of the fact that we are sinners and our human nature will always kick in sometimes, depending on what we feed it. He wants us to daily and constantly be better than who we were the day before; daily striving for perfection.

>God is never a waster of resources. He expects you to do good with everything He bless you with.

The story of Jehoshaphat got to me when i read it. It gave me a whole new perspective and a desire to always have goodness right in me.

In the book of 2Chronicles Chapter 19: 1-3, the answer is there.

>19:1 - When King Jehoshaphat of Judah returned home safely to Jerusalem
2 - the prophet Jehu son of Hanani confronted him; he said to King Jehoshaphat, “Is it right to help the wicked and be an ally of those who oppose the Lord? Because you have done this the Lord is angry with you!
3 - Nevertheless **you have done some good things**; you removed the Asherah poles from the land and you were determined to follow the Lord.”

Verse three that i highlighted above got to me when i read that part. Other version put it thus: **You still have some good left inside you**. So, God wants to help and bless us, ignore all our mistakes and restore us, but we need to ask ourselves, what are we doing?

>Romans 6:1 (New International Version):
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?

We need to take steps, be conscious and be deliberate in doing good.

When Sodom and Gomorrah's wickedness shot up to God. He determined to wipe out the entire city.

The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the LORD . Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it? Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
The L ORD said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
Then Abraham spoke up again: “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes, what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?”
“If I find forty-five there,” he said, “I will not destroy it.”
Once again he spoke to him, “What if only forty are found there?”
He said, “For the sake of forty, I will not do it.”
Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?”
He answered, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”
Abraham said, “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?”
He said, “For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.”
Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?”
He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”
When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.

God repented of that and He was determined to even save the city if just one righteous person was there. Lot got saved afterwards.

He knows our weaknesses and He wants to help us. Keep trying to be good. 

Set out everyday with a great determination to at least touch a life positively in ANY way your mind lead you. It always make a difference.
