Bitcoin is one of the first implementations of the crypto-currency concept, which was first described by programmer Wei Daia in 1998.

The very concept of bitcoin in its current form was created in 2008 and its author is a member of the mailing list metzdowd.com, hidden under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. It was there, on October 31, 2008, for the first time the Satoshi Nakamoto Manifesto was published, describing the specific principles of the bitcoin network. At the end of 2010, Satoshi left the project to inform the community that he must do something else. The creator of bitcoin has never revealed his true identity
