Today, we will begin a series on the story of Mr. Tortoise, please enjoy.

Long time ago, Tortoise was eager to marry a girl of his dream. Although he knew he was very ugly, he was found of saying that two ugly people should never be found together, at least one of them should be good  looking while the other can remain ugly.

There was a girl in the town where tortoise lived,her name was Gali, she was the most beautiful girl in the area because of her great beauty, many men wooed her but she had no interest in any of them.

Tortoise made up his mind to try his luck. He visited her several times and found that the girl had very little regard for him. Only a miracle could let her marry him. He did not know how to make the girl do what he wanted.

Tortoise had a farm not very far from the stream which provided water for the people of the town. He was aware that this girl always went to fetch water there early in the morning. He thought of a plan to get her attention.

So, he decided to put a rope which looked like a snake on the footpath, he knew that people feared snakes and Gali would not be an exception.
