Hey, it’s another beautiful day welcome to my blog! I go by the name @oluthomas, and this is my very first time posting in this amazing music community. Although I’m not yet a professional singer, I’m eagerly and earnestly looking forward to learning music to the fullest. With all the valuable info, post and encouragement I have been getting here, I’ve already started picking up some music techniques from diverse post.

Today, as I was thinking about what to share on Hive, a particular song kept ringing in my head “He’s Able” by **Deitrick Haddon**. I found myself singing it uncontrollably. I even tried switching to other songs, but that one just kept coming back, it was the only song in my spirit.

Right now, I just want to thank God for the gift of life and for keeping me safe amidst everything going on around us. With all the reports of killings and kidnappings, I don’t take His protection for granted.

My heart and prayers go out daily to the people of **Israel and Iran**, who are currently in the midst of hot war especially the innocent civilians who are the ones suffering the most. The same goes for my dear country **Nigeria**, where violence is also taking so many lives. Just recently in Benue state, Nigeria **Fulani herdsmen reportedly killed over 200 people**, including children and women. It’s heartbreaking.

But one thing I know for sure is: **God is able to do what He said He would do**. It’s not by power, it’s not by might, but by the Spirit of the Lord. I trust in God’s mercy to calm every storm, to bring peace where there’s conflict, and to protect those in harm’s way. I pray that the Lord will come through for us all.
