As August 1 is approaching, the trading volume of the whole market decreased. It is like the night before a storm. In this post, I will provide a new approach to BCC and ViaBTC.

Currently, ViaBTC exchanges one BCC token and one BTC_FROZEN2 for one bitcoin. BTC_FROZEN2 can be exchanged with a bitcoin at a certain point, and BCC can be traded within ViaBTC. If you think of it simply, it looks like a miraculous way to exchange 1+1 for 1 bitcoin.

Let's approach it in another way. Traders borrow bitcoin for ViaBTC. ViaBTC pays interest (BCC) on borrowed bitcoin. Traders usually sell BCC to get cash. Eventually, traders become creditors and ViaBTC becomes a debtor. ViaBTC, the debtor, has to make good use of the borrowed bitcoin at the moment. Otherwise, they will make a loss when they have to pay off their debt.

Here are some things ViaBTC can do to benefit.

1. RUN AWAY
It is not impossible. Creating a situation that traders would benefit from it and attracting capital are a trick of a typical con artist. In the short term, it is to maximize the benefits of ViaBTC. However, since the CEO of ViaBTC recently interviewed, the risk may be reduced.

2. DECREASE BITCOIN PRICE
It is a more aggressive way to pursue profits. After leading the decline in bitcoin price with the bitcoin they have, they increase the number of bitcoin. A few days ago, the price correction for bitcoin was started with Bitfinex, which may be bitcoin borrowed by ViaBTC.

3. RAISE BCC PRICE
Since most traders sell BCC, ViaBTC seems to be a buyer. How can they raise the price of BCC? It's simple. Just postpone UAHF and delay the exchange of BTC_FROZEN2. If the exchange of BTC_FROZEN2 is delayed on August 1st, traders will panic. And there is only one way to recover BTC. Because of the weak volume of BCC, the BCC price will surge. ViaBTC, BENEFIT!!!

4. DO NOTHING
ViaBTC just keeps bitcoin, and return it at the time of exchange. ViaBTC is aimed at improving their reputation.

If the UAHF is executed on August 1 as scheduled, the price of BCC will be determined by the market. In this situation, ViaBTC can only benefit from a limited number of ways, among which there are only fourth way to win-win with traders. 다른 방법으로 접근해봅시다. 투자자들은 ViaBTC에게 비트코인을 빌려준 것과 같습니다. 빌린 비트코인에 대해서 ViaBTC는 원금을 제외한 이자(BCC)를 제공합니다. 투자자들은 BCC를 팔아서 ViaBTC로부터 받은 이자를 현금화합니다. 결국 투자자들은 채권자가 되고, ViaBTC는 채무자가 됩니다. 채무자인 ViaBTC는 당장 빌린 비트코인을 유용하게 사용해야 합니다. 그렇지 않으면 빚을 청산해야 될 때 손해를 보게 됩니다.

ViaBTC가 손해를 보지 않기 위해서 할 수 있는 일들은 다음과 같습니다. ViaBTC에게 가장 이득이 크고 현실 가능성이 낮은 순서입니다.

1. 들고 나른다.
가능성이 없진 않습니다. 투자자가 무조건 이득을 볼 것처럼 상황을 만들고 자본을 끌어모으는 것은 전형적인 사기꾼의 수법입니다. 단기적으로 봤을 때 ViaBTC의 이익을 극대화하는 방안임에는 틀림없습니다. 그러나 최근 ViaBTC의 CEO가 인터뷰를 하면서 해당 리스크는 줄어들었다고 볼 수도 있습니다. 

2. 비트코인 가격을 낮춘다.
좀 더 공격적으로 이익을 추구하는 방법입니다. 보유한 비트코인으로 비트코인 가격 하락을 주도한 후, 저점 매수를 통해 비트코인 개수를 늘립니다. 며칠 전 비트코인의 가격 조정은 Bitfinex로부터 시작되었다고 하는데, 이 물량이 ViaBTC가 빌린 비트코인일 수도 있습니다.

3. BCC 가격을 올린다.
대부분의 투자자들이 BCC를 받아서 매도를 하기 때문에 현재 매수자는 ViaBTC 일 수밖에 없습니다. ViaBTC가 많은 BCC를 확보한 상황에서 BCC의 가격을 올리는 방법은 무엇일까요? 간단합니다. UAHF가 연기되고 BTC_FROZEN2의 교환을 늦추면 됩니다. 당장 8월 1일에 BTC_FROZEN2의 교환이 연기된다면 투자자들은 패닉에 빠질 것이고, BCC를 구매해서 빠져나오는 방법 밖에 없습니다. BCC의 하루 거래량이 빈약하기 때문에 단기간에 매수세가 몰리면 BCC의 가격은 폭등할 것입니다. ViaBTC는 보유한 BCC로 이득을 챙기면 됩니다.

4. 아무것도 하지 않는다.
사용자들이 맡긴 비트코인을 그대로 보유한 채, 교환 시점에 그대로 돌려주고 BCC의 가격은 시장에 맡깁니다. ViaBTC의 인지도 향상을 노리는 방안입니다.

예정대로 8월 1일에 UAHF가 실행된다면 BCC의 가격은 시장에 맡길 수밖에 없습니다. 이 상황에서 ViaBTC가 이익을 볼 수 있는 방법은 제한적이고, 그중 투자자와 win-win 하는 방안은 4번뿐입니다. 비트코인을 빌려준 투자자들은 이미 손해 보는 투자를 하고 있습니다.
