In June, Bitmain announced the UAHF (User Activated Hard Fork) as a counterpart of the UASF (User Activated Soft Fork). And now BITCOIN ABC, an implementation version of UAHF, is being developed in github, and the developers say they will split the bitcoin block chain at some point. We do not pay much attention to BCC currently, but this may be a huge disaster in the overall market.

1. Bitcoin has been able to serve as a key currency in the cryptocurrency market until now because of two characteristics. It is a preemption effect and flawlessness. Bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrency. And because of its simple algorithm, it has kept flawlessness until now. However, the emergence of BCC will cause serious damage to the flawlessness of bitcoin, and can be a start to break down the existing system that uses bitcoin as a key currency.

2. There are two ways to get BCC at present. The first is to hold bitcoin on the exchanges that support BCC, and the second is to keep bitcoin in the personal wallet. What happens if BCC is issued in the situation that most exchanges do not currently support BCC? Traders will move their bitcoin from the exchange to their personal wallet, which will eventually lead to a further decline in altcoin traded by bitcoin.

In the end, BCC just benefits Bitmain selling ASIC miner, and it does not help the market and traders. I hope BITCOIN ABC will fail.  I hope Bitcoin keeps its own flawlessness and there is no further market decline.

1. 비트코인이 지금까지 가상화폐 시장에서 기축 통화 역할을 할 수 있었던 것은 두 가지 특징 때문입니다. 그것은 바로 선점 효과와 무결성입니다. 비트코인은 모든 가상화폐의 아버지입니다. 그리고 그 간단한 알고리즘으로 인해서 지금까지 무결성을 지켜왔습니다. 그러나 BCC의 등장은 비트코인의 무결성에 큰 상처를 입힐 것이고, 비트코인을 기축통화로 쓰는 기존 체계를 흔들 발판이 될 수 있습니다.

2. 현재 BCC를 얻는 방법은 크게 두 가지가 있다고 합니다. 첫 번째는 BCC를 지원하는 거래소에 비트코인을 보유하는 것, 두 번째는 개인 지갑에 비트코인을 보관하는 것입니다. 대다수의 거래소가 현재 BCC 지원 여부를 밝히지 않고 있는 상황에서 BCC가 발생된다면 어떤 일이 벌어질까요? 투자자들은 그들이 보유한 비트코인을 거래소에서 개인 지갑으로 이동시킬 것이고, 이것은 결국 비트코인을 매개로 하는 알트 코인의 추가 하락을 야기할 것입니다.

결국 BCC는 ASIC miner를 파는 비트메인에게 이득을 안겨줄 뿐, 시장과 투자자에게 하등 도움이 되지 않습니다. 저는 BITCOIN ABC가 실패하길 바랍니다. 비트코인은 그 자신의 무결성을 지키고, 추가 시장 하락 역시 없었으면 합니다.
