You know I used to think it is a very easy thing when people say I'm saving so so and so amount monthly or weekly, not until I started saving and then I knew it was never easy but it takes discipline, hard work and counseling to be able to save and keep up your savings. I say discipline because it's not easy to remove a certain percentage of your money to keep later when you have a lot of bills pilled up and the need immediate attention, my dear friend Belema would say "save first before spending " . It sounds some how right? Yes, it does but if you ask me I'll say yes she is 💯 correct because if you decide to spend first before you save, a greater percent of the time you spend everything and more (acquire debts) so that is it,

Also for the hard work and counseling, if you do not have a job at hand or maybe something profitable you're do you can't save up or even meet up deadlines to your savings. It is one thing to save and another thing to know how and when to save, also there's what to do while saving and here comes counseling. Belema would say the only way I can release a savings to you is if and only if you or a family member is dying or when it's the end of our agreement. ( I have my savings with her and also in the bank).

Now let's bring this scenario into our school systems where savings is imputed into the schools curriculum and they are thought on how to manage wealth. Imagine teaching a child how to save a # 100 or  100 cedis everyday/ week for a month and at the end of the year the child gets # 36,500 for him or herself, I bet you that child will be joyful and hopeful, I bet you if that child takes that mentally of saving the little he or she has that child will be saved from unnecessary debts. I'm saving this because I have experienced this and I know the feeling, although I'm not a worker I'm a student but I get stipends from time to time, you know that joy of spending or finally getting the money you saved up all through the year. As a teacher if you're able to inculcate all these into the mind of a child and see that they get to fulfill it with your guidance and counseling, I'm sure that child will be grateful when they grow up.

*Like I said before save before you spend, also savings helps alot what you're saving might be insignificant but at the end you will be grateful you did* 
Do not save above average or even up to average save money at your convenience don't save a particular amount because others are doing please save money according to your pocket and finance ❤️.
