Tips to help newbies who want to go into fashion design and dressmaking
Due to the plans and development that ulog and our dear @surpassinggoole have been acting on,I will aslo contribute to their plans on developing newbies and making serious newbies great and useful to the platform and the community at large.Ulog have always been a place of learning to me,I learn new things there everyday,am proud to be a ulogger ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/9yeh3njqq4.jpg).
  I write on fashion to help newbies in dressmaking,but the problem is as useful as my post is I don't get audience to my blog,but I think as I have join ulog and also helping newbies through the plans of sir Terry,my post will be useful to anyone who want to go into dressmaking.

**What is dressmaking?**
They are many here who want to learn how to make a dress but due to lack of time,they can't.
That's the reason why am planning to make a post on how to make a dress.you can also learn dressmaking and fashion designing  through this platform,feel free to ask questions anywhere you are confused after the post.
We all wear clothes ,we all have a drawer at home or wardrobe that's full of clothes,I will be looking at few basic of dressmaking to enlighten beginner.
There are thousands of patterns available to buy at big patterns house through to small Independence and patterns for all grament type that we can adapt to fit perfectly to create unique style but I will be discussing everything here and you don't need to stress yourself,the only thing you need to learn is the basic skill to start sewing yourself.
**Tools you need to begin dressmaking**

1. Sewing machine,you should get this after you have been taught the basic pattern.
2. Thread
3. Hand sewing needles
4. Tape measure
5. Pins
6. Scissors (1 for cutting fabric,1 for trimming thread and 1 for cutting pattern so you have to get 3)
7. Iron
8. Dressmaking chalk for marking out pattern.

After I've introduce the basic tools you have to get,we will be going step by step everyday,and I will be making enlightenment everyday,so try ow my blog to get new updates,this weekend till Tuesday, we'll be looking  through everything you need to understand about a sewing pattern.we will be looking at 
1. Paper cutting lines.
2. Gramline
3. Dart
4. Foldline
5. Notches
6. Layout diagram
7. Lengthening line 
8. Circle dots 
9. Button and button holes placement
10. Tucks and pleats
11. Sewing pattern abbreviation.
