Bitmex is a place where you can make bets on  bitcoin and some other crypto currencies prices.  So is it a gambling site?

I think not exactly, because you can make educated guess which are not based on luck alone.

This time Im betting 170$ worth of bitcoin with a 25% levarege that the bitcoin price will go up, probably to 6900$ before it corrects and these are the reasons:

1 . on the daily chart: It is in its way to hit the overall 10 month downtrend of 2018 which will be at 6900:

2 .  on the 4 hours chart:  bitcoin is above the MA ribon which means it above the 20 ma.  Whenever bitcoin does that it usually stays on this uptrend for a couple of days atleast as seen in this chart:

3 . on the daily - the stoch RSI has just starting to be above the 80 level. Bitcoin tends to stay above it for a couple of days before going down as seen in this chart:
