Hi all and welcome to first quarter of 2025 and I must say, the year started quite well with BTC maintaining a high of 100k to PlatON updating us with its recent update tagged December review as well as PlatON v1.4.4.

So what makes this note worthy?

Prior to now, PlatON was running on a blockCacheMemory of 64M and if you recalled from one of our previous writeup we made mention on how PlatON was able to handle a network stress from an NFT collection without having any downside or delay in processing time. All functions operated perfectly with 100's of users minting from various locations worldwide, truly it was remarkable and also a memorable moments for PlatON Network. Over time we have seen significance update to security setup across PlatON and it's underlying DApp and truly 2024 was nothing short of amazing.

2025 is here and what better way to start the year than with a setup upgrade?

The latest addition will not only make server synchronisation as smooth as possible but also create a field for developers to easily build and manage their various DApps on the go.

The upgrade takes the blockCacheMemory from 64m to a whooping height of 256M and for anyone informed about the operation of crypto and it's underlying technology called blockchain would see the significance of this upgrade.
