wow that's a great comment.. this post is 2 months old ! yeah, linguists are good conduits for alien stories.. you also forgot that Han Solo and Luke could both speak quite a few languages, but not as many as C3PO  I thought abbot and costello was a bit cheap as names for them. they were more holmes and watson or at least laurel and hardy !! thanks for responding.
