I hear you applying a traditional investing strategy to crypto. But traditional strategies have been crafted around fiat. The most prevalent strafegy we are told is "invest for the future and hold for a long time." I think if we want cryto to be different, we need to *use* it, to trade in crypto for goods and services, now, not later in life. As it is, crypto's value to us is in how much could we get in fiat. Crypto will have less value of its own unless we stop measuring it in fiat.  I hope that makes sense.
