I was just at my first meeting of the local garden club. We had a speaker who told us all about Monarch butterflies. A friend of mine actually came up to me after the meeting to tell me she was “bone tired” from all the gardening she had done that day! Who actually says “bone tired?” 

I had been at her house earlier today to see her chicken set up. My goodness is it ever beautiful. Clean, clever, everything thought of. The coolest thing was the way she had set up to collect the eggs. She used paint roller trays. She’d put squares of welcome mats in the shallow end, situated the trays so the the deep end was on her side of the nesting box, jutting out into a bin that she could open. The chickens lay the eggs in the shallow end, the eggs roll down past a little curtain into the bin she has easy access to, and there they are, clean, uncracked, and out of harm’s way from any chickens. It is brilliant, one of those ideas that only a human being can even come up with. AI would never think of that, no way. 

This goes to show how humans are better than AI. If there’s anything I am bone tired of, it’s all this hullaballoo about machines doing our thinking for us. I’ll do my own thinking, thank you very much. That way, the thinking will be mine, and not some garbage a machine, that has been programmed by a human other than myself, will come up with.
