Sorry, what? you said you'd do it right?  and you weren't even asked, it came outta your own volition. You gave your words, didn't you? "I promise, I'll be there," or "I swear I'm gonna do it'' you said, as you nodded with affirmation and clenched your fist. You couldn't even wait for daylight to come!

So? What the hell are you doing holding the line up? Something stands as a judge now; Your words! So get outta your way and get on with it already, Unless it was a bad call of course. Don't be a wuss!


Integrity. That word. hard to find these days. In making promises, you wanna set yourself apart from the crowd of people who say and don't do. Be darn sure it's something you can live up to. Otherwise, you better tell it as it is.  That way, you still have your integrity and reliability flying high. You still keep your self-worth and respect on the green. It's that simple!

Also, in giving your words, don't be rash or impulsive! Don't say stuff you aren't sure of, don't say stuff you cannot stand and defend tomorrow if you're called up! I think there's a quote that pretty much sums everything up:
