 Hello World, it's @pangoli here keeping it real with y'all. gotta admit, it turned out to be a rather Cold, rainy Day here in Portharcourt Nigeria. it's late, and I'm quietly relishing the Day on a cup of coffee at home. As usual, got in touch with the hub today to go over a few clarifications on the last meet-up and the newly launched Project20MillionNaija. and I'm glad to announce a few things and as well reiterate our mission... *** ### A New World. Attention Economy! It's quite a noisy World out there, don't you agree? with so much distractions and 'isms. the noise takes all the creativity and concentration... So, Ever been to the "New" section on Steemit lately? ever waited on that page, hoping to get a decent post, worthy of your upvote from a total stranger to you? If you have, you'd be amazed at the rate at which in a haste, newbies and surprisingly some Minnows churn out Contents of Poor quality with the hopes of getting upvoted... it takes quite a while to get something worthwhile to read and I think this poses quite a Challenge for the existing Community. Whales and curators are put off by these posts and wouldn't wanna hang around for longer on that section because obviously, it's almost like a huge waste of time. ##### I'm darn sure We don't want that. well, there are several factors that might be responsible for that. for the newbies, we see reduced motivation as each day passes, coupled with the lack of blogging experience. having probably skipped the [*welcome page*](https://steemit.com/welcome), they just ain't got a clue on what to do yet. however, for some guys who have been here for sometime, we see the distractions, lack of patience and indulgence in their blogs. thus they get frustrated and begin to wing it. Realizing this, some Questions stood out at STACH. how do we assist people focus their Attention on their work and as well maintain the proper frame of mind to add value to Steemit through their blogs? in the most stress-free method, how do we assist new Steemians cultivate the right mindset for steemit? how do we create a more friendly environment, void of unnecessary distractions where everyone can learn to be themselves more effectively? how do we encourage consistent newbies who are hidden in crowd, just waiting to be discovered? how do we assist their blog in gaining the traction it deserves? thus, STACH! an Environment that seems almost utopian when heard of, but nonetheless has kept it's promise of what it stands for over time. Last week saw @stach achieving one of its Goals of creating more hubs across the country to facilitate a more serendipitous atmosphere for steemit users in Nigeria to get creative as well as overcome the seemingly insurmountable problems of Power seizures and huge data cost! Why are we having more hubs? so far, just about a measly 2% of the Steemit Nigerian community has access to the hub and it's facilities. but not to worry, in a bid to reach out to more Steemians across the Nation, We're expanding! > ***You don't have to come to Us, We'll come to you*** 😉 we believe strongly in the possibility of achieving this.
