Heello hive!! 


Vengo a contarles con una historia un poco graciosa de un acontecimiento que me pasó hace días, bueno, a mi mamá y a mí. Estabamos lavando los artículos de la cocina y por accidente colocamos en la lavadora un guante de cocina. Para nuestra sorpresa, cuando la lavadora terminó su ciclo de lavar... el guante de cocina estaba destruido, ya no servía más como guante. Así que... decidí restaurarlo y convertirlo en quizás un agarra ollas!! Seguirá siendo muy útil. 

Por aquí les muestro la foto de como quedó luego de la lavada:

I come to tell you a funny story of an event that happened to me and my mom a few days ago. We were washing kitchen items and accidentally placed an oven mitt in the washer. To our surprise, when the washer finished its wash cycle... the oven mitt was destroyed, it was no longer useful as a glove. So... I decided to restore it and turn it into maybe a pot holder!!! It will still be very useful. 
Here I show you the picture of how it looked after washing:

Ahora bien, para restaurarlo, conseguí un poco de tela roja, tijeras, aguja e hilo. Comencé con las restauración. Doblé y cocí la parte de los guantes donde van los dedos, para así obtener una forma recta y luciera más como un paño. 

> Now, to restore it, I got some red cloth, scissors, needle and thread. I started with the restoration. I folded and baked the part of the gloves where the fingers go, in order to get a straight shape and make it look more like a cloth.

Luego, le realicé una especie de forro con la tela roja. Este forro, me permitirá una mayor facilidad a la hora de lavarlo próximamente ya que puede quitarse y ponerse.  De igual forma, en la esquina de este, le coloqué una mínima flor roja para que tapara algún detallito. Me parece que quedó genial y ahora sí puedo seguir usándolo!! Tendré cuidado la próxima vez que deba lavarlo, jajaja.

> Then, I made a kind of lining with the red fabric. This lining will allow me to wash it more easily in the near future since it can be taken off and put on.  I also placed a small red flower in the corner of the lining to cover a small detail. I think it looked great and now I can continue to use it! I'll be careful next time I have to wash it, hahaha.
