A funny short story from my new book

I hope it is funny. It won't get a laugh from you, probably. This story is not that kind of funny story.

(The whole book is a collection of short tales like that.)

Once Anemone Tarzan woke from a nap on a lawn and his body was gone. That is, he, mr Tarzan, was still on the lawn but his body was not, it was gone!

"Where is my body, where are my clothes, where is my wallet with my money and ID card?" Asked Anemone Tarzan in despair and probably in a state of shock. "What am I now? What can I do? "

Recovered from dismay, Anemone Tarzan went in search of his body in the most logical place: the nearest morgue. There were many bodies there, some even pleasant and vigorous but Anemone wanted his own.

After wandering the streets for a while (at least he did not feel hunger or fatigue), Anemone Tarzan found his body in a seedy bar in the suburbs, drunk and sad. It had spent all the money in his wallet. Anemone rejoined his body and staggered back home. For a few weeks, however, he continued to feel like a guest of himself.
