I respond kindly, and let them know that they are my *favorite* because I like them *more than* all the other animals... **That's just how favorites work!** Anyway, during a brief pit stop at the lake today, Pinkie-Pepper spotted a babay turtle under the water, among the rocks on the bottom. While it may have been some pretty cold water, it didn't stop me! Soon, I had that turtle in hand, but only after a transfer, since I caught it with my feet. *It was deep enough I didn't want to reach it with my hands, so I opeted for a barefoot grasp, which thankfully worked.* Accoring to Pinkie-Pepper, it's a Northern Map Turtle (*Graptemys geographica*).
