Ever seen a swimming frog? We had a one hour break between meetings.  An early start for me today, as I first took some sunrise photos and then we were off to the first meeting. Papillon will be featured in some Australian TV program and we had to prepare for the interview, as it is about the Crime Victim support project. Our next meeting was at the Imibala NPO, to discuss a possible fundraising venture for the kids coding training project. So all the photos here were taken by me between the two meetings. We saw him sitting on a stainless steel channel in the water.   Right, he was ready for an Olympic dive.  And headed straight for the side.  So I asked Marian to touch his foot very gently.  She did and he took off like a rocket.  Yep, a real champion swimmer this little guy as he crossed the pond to the other side.  Getting ready to blow a bubble as he reached the other side.  I took the shot as he sat and I didn't even see the smaller frog at the left until I downloaded my camera into the PC. So a bargain, as two frogs for the price of one.  With regards to the coding training for children, the pilot launch is now complete and we are happy with the 80/20 strike rate. This means that 20 learners will do the Python and Java exams and the others will develop websites and apps. Another exciting new thing is that we are going to take children from Standard 4 / Grade 6 for basic PC skills and design training. These children will all come from a very poor school and we have high hopes for them. I will do a separate post on this project soon. For now, I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.
