When I started reading the wonderful post by @meetmysuperego, it was mostly humorous.  The idea of your flight being cancelled twice is uncommon, but the ensuing issues it creates are maddening.  But @meetmysuperego deals with it well, choosing to post on #gratefulvibes while waiting.  Then the story takes a unusual twist, reminding the writer of their humanity. Every year of we are blessed to travel to Iowa for Christmas.  Martha's family is there and it's fantastic.  Honestly, it's like traveling back in time, and celebrating an "old fashion Christmas."  There are no horse drawn sleigh's or carolers at the door.  But getting there the pace slows, time seems to stand still for the holiday.  Making it much easier for memories to be made and joy shared!!  I don't know if it's just me, or others feel the same, either way, I really love it!!  And I'm very grateful for safe travels to my favorite place to celebrate an "old fashion Christmas."
