Time for another Social Media Challenge! This time, with a focus on battling and making use of the new ruleset:

Giving the *reach* ability to all melee monsters can open up a ton of possibilities: some melee attackers have very high attack, but can be too slow/too squishy to use as tanks... but do wonders protected behind the tank while being able to attack! And one of my favourite melee cards to pair with this ability is this one:

A slow card for sure, not that much HP; but with 7 melee attack AND piercing AND, most importantly, *bloodlust* ability, gaining +1 to each stat after a kill! Which means that, if allowed to get a couple kills, it's very hard to stop him! Here's an example on how I use it:

Two more rulesets on this battle, apart from the one already mentioned:

- You can't use neutral cards
- A monster with trample can continue attacking if he kills the opponent

<h2>**My lineup:**</h2>

- Grandmaster Rathe as the summoner, the void skill ability would be handy to keep my cards alive as much as possible
- Drybone Barbarian as main tank: very high attack and HP
- Jared Scar as offtank, with the reach ability in this ruleset on top of all the others
- Djinn Renova, mainly for the triage ability
- Celestial Harpy: opportunity and true strike would come in handy for the extra damage
- Truthspeaker: an awesome support card, with tank heal, shield (even better with this summoner) and cleanse
 - And in the last position, Iziar: although I still don't have it at level 3, when it gains the marty ability, the taunt here together with the void armor were very important to reduce the damage to the tanks, aided with the triage from the djinn.

My opponent had a similar strategy, also with Iziar on last position and same tank, focusing more on ranged damage and ignoring the ruleset to take advantage of reach.

At the end of the first round, my strategy started to pay off: as Iziar soaked some damage...

Jared Scar finishes the tank, and bloodlust kicks in! The opponent's Drybone retaliated, but Jared's armour kept him alive.

Off to round two, and Jared gets even more powerful!

Another card down, and with more bloodlust we already have a card with 9 melee attack and piercing, and with increased speed!

At the end of round 3, yet another kills gives my reach card 10 melee attack, 5 speed, and 10 HP: almost impossible to stop, with the extra fact that he is still protected by the main tank! You can guess how the rest of the battle went...

Carefully seeing the rulesets is paramount for a sucessfull strategy; although sometimes doing something unexpected in a given ruleset can provide a nice win, some rulesets are too good to ignore if the right cards are available. And here, being able to use such a powerful card in a protected position turns the odds in your favour!
