Hello all, it's @pasaift.  Today I  was just thinking about the future, and I came up with this poem. hope you enjoy it.

What was I yesterday 
What am I today
What will I be tomorrow 
Questions I have no answer to

Friends and foes alike
Strive to be on a path
A path they can take tomorrow 
But what path have I created for myself 

I did things I hated
Abandoned things I loved 
Still thought of doing things I despised
All along tormenting myself for my decisions 

But no one is to blame 
No matter how much I try to push it 
I am now at he crossroads
On a fence I refuse to sit on

Yet I wish to stop living this nightmare 
To carve a path for myself 
To fight for my future
And not just live in my dreams 

For life is not lived
If it spent all on imaginations
They are okay 
But best when actualized 

And so on beaded knees
I cry to you oh Lord
Show me the way to follow 
The way to my dreams 

Help me 
To live life and not to live a life
To imprint my legacy before my demise 
A legacy you have destined for me
