Precious Steemit friends, I was just reading and I felt like sharing this amazing thought. Let's take a close look into some questions that arises in some people's minds concerning God and his creation. 

What does it mean that God creates? 
How does God create? 

If you still perceive God as some separate entity, then yes creation could be imagined as an isolated act by this entity.
But if God is more immanent, more intertwined with creation, like the kind of God that Jesus introduced us to - God with us, the One in whom all things exists - then creation is never an isolated act by a separate entity. Rather, its the unfolding natural processes in which all of creation participate. 

David said 'for it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. (Ps 139:13,14)

From these words, David made no distinction between God’s creative act and the natural process of pregnancy in which humans participate… for there is no distinction.

To imagine creation as an isolated act by a separate entity, confined to a past event, is to relegate such a god to irrelevance. No. Creation is an ongoing relationship between a present Creator and a participating creature.
