Continue From there-is-always-hope... https://steemit.com/life/@patricksanlin/there-is-always-hope We received god blessing for our community day by day and growing as well. Around year 2004, we have more people, because a lot of people from our country, came to work Singapore as professional work and students. Some are very well at computer and organized the youth section as well. At the time, illegal immigrants are almost no more in Singapore. Fr. Joseph Jeannequin was happy to announce and register our community at under Singapore archdiocese and put at catholic news for our Myanmar mass program. We have get permission to celebrated mass at IHM main church for every second Sunday of the month. I still remember, we do not how to used facility and need to call church’s secretary to show us how to use it. We still celebrated Christmas party at Singapore major seminary from the grace of the rector (Now Singapore Archbishop), until year 2005. We do enjoyed the Singapore major seminary’s facility for the time. At the same time, we request from Singapore Archbishop to get Myanmar priest for us from CBCM (CATHOLIC BISHOPS' CONFERENCE OF MYANMAR). At the time, Singapore archbishop Nicholas Chia was kind enough to help us to get the Myanmar priest. We have another blessing from our graces God, we get our own priest at year 2006 due to our Fr. Joseph Jeannequin’s health was weaker. Who he was from Archdiocese of Taunggyi (at the time) and native town from Pekhon. His name was Fr. Peter Paul. He was assign as assistance priest at Holy Spirit church and at the same time need to take care of our Myanmar community as spiritual director. He is very lovely and helpful to us. Although he don’t have any vehicle, he took public transport to visit our houses without fail. At year 2006, we celebrated Christmas at Morning Star Community Services Headquarters, 4 Lorong Low Koon for the first time. As usual we do celebrated smoothly and for the first time with our own priest from Myanmar. For this year end, we have prepare for our community 10 years anniversary celebration to celebrate at around Chinese New Year holiday’s periods. We prepare for our biggest occasion with our full strange and ability. I still remember, we assign each diocese has to come out with each traditional entertainment program to show each other. For the music section, they also prepare to produce one album for Myanmar catholic community own music series, and one magazine for our progress history. So everyone has very busy for our own individual assignments. Some are busy after work for practicing dancing, recording singing and writing articles and many other things. As for me, we practice kayin done dance at every Sunday before we really perform. For the first time, our muscles are very aching after workout for few days. This dance was look very fun and involve of a lot of physical strange and mostly are jumping around with sequence. It took us to complete one song was more than 10 minutes. But of cause we train our self for every section about 4 hours start from scratch. Most of us do not know how to dance. Our dancing coach was very patience and teach us from every single step and move. we do celebrated our 10 years anniversary celebration at Catholic Spirituality Centre (CSC) and went smoothly. We did very well and we achieved the best performance among the dancing. It was my first and last kayin done dance in my life. For now most of us are getting married and start our own family and busy with our kids. I do believe it will be one of the best memory of our life, whoever participate for the occasion. I really do miss until today and it became our story for now. To Be Continue..... GO WELL....(By: PatrickSanLin. MSC 007) Photos credit: Google Image
