I once thought that, with enough space and time, random noise put into [Conway's Game of Life](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conway%27s_Game_of_Life) would produce some sort of life in the same way that the Big Bang produced us. While that never happened (though I may just need more space and time), it still produced this:
