Hello Steemit community, my name is Paul. I live in the United States, in the state of North Dakota however, I am originally from the state of Illinois. That information seems irrelevant, I know, but this is the beginning of who I am as a person, as you will see. I have visited 46 states in the U.S. and I did it all by last minute road trips in my young adult years. In my travels, I have met some very interesting people and I’ve seen very interesting places. I do plan on telling some stories from the road as well as other topics.
	I was first introduced to Steemit by Gregory Mannarino. He has a vlog on You Tube called “Market Report” I recommend it. Admittedly the first thing that enticed me to sign up for Steemit was the ability to earn as well as my loathing of Face Book; Steemit seems like a good alternative to FB. I enjoy social media and interaction with intelligent people. I believe it is healthy to have our ideas challenged in a constructive way. This is how we grow and develop our wisdom. 
	By using Steemit, I hope to learn a lot and to offer material that other people can learn from. I enjoy writing and now that I have an audience to write for, I hope to sharpen my rusty writing skills. Topics that I plan on writing about are: Adventure stories, precious metals, government theory, theories in general, history, geography and some other topics with no real category, most of which will derive from my personal experiences.
