"H to He, Who Am the Only One" (released 1971), is the name of the third album under study by the British band, Van der Graaf Generator. The group was founded in the late 60s and had its glory era in the 70s. VdGG was mainly composed of: Peter Hammill (vocalist), Hugh Banton (organ, keyboards) and Guy Evans (drums, percussion). As for his musical style, Van der Graaf Generator is one of the pioneering bands of progressive rock highlighting both the compositions and the metaphysical and deep voice of his leader Peter Hammill; The sound of VdGG is eclectic so we can appreciate in its music a variety of sound ingredients taken from jazz rock, psychedelia, classical music and avant-garde music .... =)
