I think it's logical that we try to produce AI to the best of our ability.  But the other side of the coin, is that we need to give humanity a chance to adapt to the speed of AI advancement.  At the moment, I just see problems with unemployment, especially if it comes in TOO fast !  It will come in.  there is no doubt about that.  But there is an optimum speed that will suit humanity.
