I wanted to make a video on this, because it is something I was also confused about when I first started. What does it mean to 'Power-Up' on Steemit and why would people want to do it.

To Power-Up would mean to receive the payment for your content only in Steem Power and not in Steem Dollar.
This might be a good idea in the future, but I think for now it is not.
The Steem Dollar is trading at something like 4usd at the moment.
For that reason I feel it would be beneficial to keep your payment settings at 50:50. If SBD goes down in the future, then sure I might consider changing it.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
