# Cheer up with conviction
#
Good evening everyone, may God bless each of you.
Continuing with the messages of the previous post, today it was his turn, as the title says, to cheer up, but with conviction and to give way to the explanation, let's go to the book of Nehemiah chapter four from verse 14. And it says like this:

V14 “Then I looked, and I got up and said to the nobles and the officials, and to the rest of the people: Do not fear before them; remember the Lord, great and fearsome…”. He told them: "Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, remember who our God is, and if God is with us, who is against us". The Lord is our helper and we need not fear what men can do to us. Let us hope in God and He will renew our energies. Are you tired, overwhelmed, fearful, downcast? Think of the Lord. And if you don't know why you feel that way, maybe it's because you've stopped looking and trusting in the Lord. Think about it.
Have you seen the face of the Lord lately?
Do you know what it is to see Jesus in the midst of the storm?
Do you know what Neh would say to him at that time?
Remember the Lord, behold his face. Know that Jesus is still at the helm and there is no panic in heaven, only plans. And whatever we do as members of a church, we must always remember God. Let us quote Paul's words in Rom 8:31




# “If God is for us, who can be against us?

Nehemiah armed his people, gave them courage and courage. Let's see the second part of V14…”, and fight for your brothers, for your sons and for your daughters, and for your wives and for your houses”. Nehemiah knew how to touch the hearts of his people and encourage them for the work, helping them to see the importance of it. They weren't just rebuilding a wall or repairing doors, they were rebuilding and fighting for something that was dear to them, home, family, community.
Listen, we Christians don't have much free time left to testify, to act, to make a difference. It is incredible what liberal and atheist authorities in the world are doing to gradually take away our religious freedoms. And when we rebuild the deteriorated walls of morality, ethics, common sense; We are not just rebuilding walls, we are rebuilding lives, families, homes. Remember, when you build something you are not thinking of yourself, you are thinking of your family, wife, children, grandchildren, the brothers and sisters you have in Christ, your neighbors, especially those who still do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior. In other words, you have to always think about your neighbor, because as Christians, we are in the business of representing Christ so that He transforms lives.
That's what Nehemiah said, look beyond the walls, the gates. Look at the purpose of the work, we have a job to do, and I'm not just talking about bricks and mortar, but about people of flesh and blood. Nehemiah encouraged his people.

There are thousands of people who do not want to get involved in anything, they do not want to take any risks, they want to live for themselves, as if Christ had never come or existed. Or worse yet, as if Christ had never sacrificed his life. But Nehemiah tells his own: “Think of others, take the risk of loving, do not keep your heart in a small and safe coffin, even if you adorn it with luxuries and pleasures. Although it costs to love, loving is something that is always worth it.

# Animarse con convicción

Buenas noches a todos, que Dios les bendiga a cada uno de ustedes. 
Continuando con los mensajes de los post anteriores hoy le tocó como dice el título, animarse, pero con convicción y para dar paso a la explicación vayamos al libro de Nehemias capítulo cuatro a partir del verso 14. Y dice así :

V14  “Después miré, y me levanté y dije a los nobles y a los oficiales, y al resto del pueblo: No temáis delante de ellos; acordaos del Señor, grande y temible…”.  Les dijo: “no tengan temor, no se desanimen, recuerden quién es nuestro Dios, y si Dios con nosotros, quien contra nosotros”.  El Señor es nuestro ayudador y no debemos temer lo que puedan hacernos los hombres.  Esperemos en Dios y Él renovará nuestras energías.  ¿Esta ud cansado, agobiado, temeroso, abatido?  Piense en el Señor.  Y si no sabe por qué se siente así, tal vez sea porque ha dejado de mirar y de confiar en el Señor.  Piénselo.  
¿Ha contemplado el rostro del Señor últimamente?  
¿Sabe lo que es ver a Jesús en medio de la tormenta?
¿Sabe lo que Neh le diría en esos momentos?  
Acuérdate del Señor, contempla su rostro.  Sepa que Jesús sigue manejando el timón y no hay pánico en el cielo, sólo planes.  Y lo que quiera que hagamos como miembros de una iglesia, siempre debemos recordar a Dios.  Citemos las palabras de Pablo en Rom 8:31 

#  “Si Dios es por nosotros, ¿Quién contra nosotros?

Nehemias armó a su gente, les infundió ánimo y valor.  Veamos la segunda parte del V14…”, y pelead por vuestros hermanos, por vuestros hijos y por vuestras hijas, y por vuestras mujeres y por vuestras casas”.  Nehemias sabía tocar el corazón de su gente y animarlos para la labor, ayudándoles a ver la importancia de la misma.  No estaban simplemente reconstruyendo un muro o reparando puertas, estaban reconstruyendo y peleando por algo que les era sumamente querido, el hogar, la familia, la comunidad.
Escuche, a nosotros los cristianos no nos queda mucho tiempo de libertad para testificar, para obrar, para marcar la diferencia.  Es increíble lo que autoridades liberales y ateas en el mundo, están haciendo para irnos quitando poco a poco nuestras libertades religiosas.  Y cuando reconstruimos los deteriorados muros de la moral, de la ética, del sentido común; no sólo estamos reconstruyendo muros, estamos reconstruyendo vidas, familias, hogares.  Recuerde, cuando construye algo no está pensando en ud, está pensando en su familia, esposa, hijos, nietos, en los hermanos y hermanas que tiene en Cristo, en sus vecinos, especialmente aquellos que todavía no conocen al Señor Jesucristo como Salvador personal.  En otras palabras, tiene que pensar siempre en su prójimo, porque como cristianos, estamos en el negocio de representar a Cristo para que Él transforme vidas.
Eso es lo que Nehemias dijo, miren más allá de los muros, de las puertas.  Miren el propósito de la obra, tenemos un trabajo que hacer, y no sólo hablo de ladrillos y cemento, sino de personas de carne y hueso.  Nehemias animó a su gente.
Hay miles de personas que no quieren involucrarse en nada, no quieren correr ningún riesgo, quieren vivir para sí mismas, como si Cristo nunca hubiera venido o existido.  O peor aún, como si Cristo nunca hubiera sacrificado su vida.  Pero Nehemias les dice a los suyos: “piensen en los demás, corran el riesgo de amar, no guarden su corazón en un pequeño y seguro ataúd, aunque lo adornen con lujos y placeres.  Aunque cueste el amar, amar es algo que siempre vale la pena”.
