This app is a revolution for patients with a (possible) heart condition.
By holding the finger a minute in front of the camera of your smart phone your heartrate and anomalies are registered. Directly the results are submitted to your personal medical file. This way, problems that occur at home and not in the medical cabinet can be monitered and spotted.
This app got it's approval by the FDA yesterday and is still only available via perscription.

A breakthrough for all of us, because heart conditions can be very subtle and this way they can be monitored when they occur.
