# The biggest deception of Hive and Leo

I am not going to beat around the bush here, but what happened to Cub and Polycub is the single most biggest deception I have had here on this blockchain. The promises (or better said, projections) that were made on these projects were immense. They lured people in with incredible rewards, and left them with bags of nothing, or maybe better, almost nothing. That is just a fact. Luckily I didn't put in much, I just put in some money in Cub and put some tokens into the liquidity pools of Polycub. So these can be pulled out anytime. But still, now many months later, my return is about 30 dollarcents, and my tokens have declined in value. So the net sum is negative.

# Who keeps falling far it?

Now, today I saw a tweet in which was stated that 1.500 000.00 USD worth of Polycub is locked at this time. That really astounds me, as the return has been negative for the entire period. So why do people keep pushing in money into this bottomless pit? I just don't get it. When you have the option of putting HBD into savings and getting a guaranteed return of 20 %... When you have a return of 33 % or more on staking SPS and Vouchers? Why would someone choose to keep on putting money into Polycub and/or Cub? I just don't get it. Is it some form of hoping to make up for what they lost in the past? Is it out of despair? Really, hard to get my head around. But it shows that the weird world of "Magic internet money" still gets fed by people not doing their due diligance.

I am sorry @khaleelkazi for saying this, you did wonderful things for this place, with Leofinance being a huge success. But Polycub and Cub are a big fail in my opinion.
