# Energy becoming a luxury product

Today I have got a final invoice for my energy contract for my firm for the last year. I must say, I was expecting something that wasn't nice, but still, it is awful. A number in the thousands of dollars extra that I have to pay extra compared to last year. For exactly the same electricity and gas. A scandalous extra taxation of the middle class in the Western world, this is. And there is no escaping from it. We will have to pay. And the story will definitely not get better in the next few months and years. The middle class has to bleed, and it is all planned.

# How can we escape?

There is in my opinion only one way to escape this, and that is to go around the Fiat system as much as possible. The "Fiat" world is becoming one of mass surveillance, where no funds for the lower and middle class will be possibly hidden for taxation and other theft. Everything will be monitored, and probably is already. Building up from nothing will become impossible in the future, when using FIAT.
I know this sounds scary, but I fear it is the truth. A real society of different "classes" is built, where the elite are the only people that will profit from Fiat. The rest will have to pay for it.

***Crypto currencies*** are the only way to escape this, not only for identity purposes, but especially for decentralised reasons. No one will be able to decide if you are having too much currency in your wallet. No one can "tax" you for that reason. And the third and most important reason: ***YIELD***. Crypto offers immense possibilities when it comes to yield. Especially the Proof Of Stake or Delegated Proof Of Stake coins, **like Hive**. Activity and staking get rewarded, and rewarded well. Where Fiat offer little or no yield, crypto has endless possibilities to create yield. And that is why crypto is the way out for the middle class. If we want to keep our heads above the water and want to grow in this world, Crypto is our only way to do that. And I am more and more convinced of that.

You don't have to put everything you have into crypto, definitely not, but a substantial amount, and it will grow and grow and grow, like a snowball. Until you eventually have created an extra income where the "Fiat" world has nothing to say about. That is the solution!
