There's no how one would talk about demand and leave out supply. Both of them go hand in hand. Before I would dabble into what demand is, I would like to talk about what supply means. Supply is the process of having the willingness to sell at a given price within a stipulated period of time. 

Selling a product is not a supply when the price and time are not including. It's very important that when you are talking about supply,it's very important that one include the price to sell the product and the period of time at which one is willing to supply the product. Even in terms of given definition for the word supply. When both price and time are not including you are not talking about supply.  


##### The supply relationship with price and time.

Let's take for instance, I can tell you I want to supply 100kg of grains without given the price and time, it's not a supply because there are lot of determinants to supply. The factors that determines supply are very vast. Among those determinants , both price and time shouldn't be excluded. As I was saying,if I now make a statement that

> "I want to supply 100kg of grains at $15 within a month".

You are just talking about what supply means. In my statement concerning Supply I have made mention of two important factors;time and price. Your product is already a supply because you have taken your time to include time and price. The price that you want to sell the product and the period of time you are willing to sell the product.
