HYGIENICALLY DISINFECTING THE FEEDERS AND DRINKERS USED BY THE BIGGER BIRDS BEFORE THE 150 BIRDS WILL START USING IT // LIFE OF A LIVESTOCK FARMER.

Some of the things that make poultry farm business grow is the abundance availability of feeders and drinkers. I have lot of drinkers both the bigger feeders and smaller feeders that I am using to run my poultry farm business. But since I have started this rotational policy of having both bigger birds and smaller birds at hand, I have been short of providing these feeders and drinkers for both my categories of birds. So I made a move to buy some news drinkers and feeders with the intention that by the time I putting my bigger birds for sales, I will be reduction in number of bigger birds which will pave way for me to make provision for more feeders and drinkers that can be used for the new 150 birds that are 5weeks old.

So for me to clean these drinker and feeders,I had to get a rough sack and break it into two to wash the drinkers and feeders. Then I added little detergent and liquid solution (morigard disinfectant) so that it can kill any germs, bacteria or virus attached to the feeders and drinkers.

After I was able to wash the feeders and drinkers, I spread the already washed drinkers and feeders in the sun so that they can get dry quick.

Finally,by evening their usage will be triggered for the smaller birds to use. See you then.....
