 For the farmers, now is the time to get enough rain, sadly this year is too drought. No matter how barren the soil, potatoes grow without much concern. So to the poor farmer, it was a golden egg in the ground.  Today, some of the potato shoots that have grown competitively from seed potato slices have been plucked. That's the way to harvest big potatoes.
