Worldly people only recognize 'I' as being too true, so there are many different tastes and afflictions to fulfill their needs of 'I'. 

The wise says, 

“How do you know the value of things if you don’t even know that I truly exist?” 

and also says. 

“If you know that this body is not me, any afflictions can invade again to what and where?”, Truly it is! (Book2 56)

*There are no exception that never changes. So nothing exists as 'I(self)'. Since it is 'I' that assumes something that does not change. It is impossible to find an entity that does not change anywhere. So there is no 'I' to suffer.*
