I rarely get too much time in the day for myself these days, I'm generally working, sleeping or hanging out with the kids, so today I had a special treat. The kids are in daycare and I should be sleeping since I work a night shift tonight, but instead I snuck away to my happy place.

Like how happy does that guy look! I love spending a day outside doing some meaningful physical labour. I am so in the zone (or a flow state) I could just go forever. I never take breaks and never consume enough water for this. Today I have to pull myself away after 2 hrs, but I could have spent all day there. In fact before I even had kids and other things to do, I did spend sun up to sun down outside most days. 

<h1> And the weather today was perfect, around -10 to -15 degrees. </h1> 

Crazy Canadian right, but it's perfect, you bundle up just right and you can go forever without getting to hot. <b>I hate being hot!</b> You wanna see me loose my shit, make me do anything on a hot day, I get so moody and upset, it's the worst. No the mention at this temperature most sticks and wood with break like toothpicks, and they are not all green and rubbery, and it's the only time the whole yard is perfectly accessible like this. This area is swampy but in the winter it's firm and easy to work on. 

<h4>I'll tell you more about my master plans for my yard one day and really show it all off, but I have 70 acres here and I'm slowly clearing land, harvesting wood, and making some trails so the property is usable and accessible. </h4>
