Steemit has the potential to be something like no other. This was proven to me in my first 24 hours of joining the platform.

I am a writer in various fields in which I share across multiple platforms for free. The areas I cover are philosophy, personal development and social growth. So when I joined, I already had an arsenal of material to offer you guys, which I was hoping I would finally get a little money for all the hard work I've put in.

So I started sharing. The first few story's flopped, and that's okay. But it's this one that got me 1000 followers and made me over $10,000.

That's right, I'm making an assumption that it will. Let's call it a mix of magic and madness. I mean, how are we to band together and undermine the surveillance state and the corporatocracy if we don't help each other out?
