I am not sure 100% why but in the past week or so I have felt intense emotions passing through me. At times I feel elated, and at other times I feel angry and confused. Somehow this has served me as an opportunity to check in with my self and see what it going on. It has become an opportunity to recommit.

I have recently made the decision to attend a Qi Gong teacher training in China  - this is in March 2019.

In order to get there I need to raise funds, more than I can make working as a baker. The people who make the food do not get paid much. My current plan is to produce works of art, drawings and carvings - which I can sell and gift to raise funds for this training. I have decided against taking anything out of Steem - because I feel passionately about this community. Steem has given me so much, this community are people I feel a like mind to. It's been very healing and cathartic to speak to people who are on the same vibe - thank you everyone! I want my SP to remain here and continue to build into something that can share a lot more!

I feel the urge to share some of what I am working on and the style I am developing (or channeling, who knows?). It's quite modular and squarish, but with organic curves softening these shapes. The effect is like a relief sculpture and has an ancient quality to it.

__I am also working on some design projects for friends of mine. I do these for a very small fee compared to the industry rates, because I am working for people who are in the early phases of their projects - they are looking at a lot of financial contraints. Coming from more of an art background I don't work as fast and frantically as most designers, so I wouldn't feel right charging a $30-40 hourly rate.__

I am now beginning to render it digitally. This is where I am currently up to in the coloring process.

This next picture is a design project for retro grove cafe, it's a take on the 'Wheel of Fortune' tarot card - which we are using as a free coffee voucher. When I have finished the design, these will be printed on nice card and placed into fitted enveloped - to be sealed with a special wax seal! 

The hope is that this intriguing high quality object can bring people from other parts of town to the cafe. What I like about this job, is that it is not merely doing some drawings. We are creating magical objects which have their own mythology and ritual. We are putting out intent to share something magical into peoples lives.

Another awesome thing about this cafe, is that the two amazing people who run it have created their own cafe mythology - these stories help describe the intention and essence of the cafe. 

>For example a water spirit called the 'Nyad' helps to purify and monitor the water quality. It's a standing intention to put good energy into each beverage regardless of who orders it and what they bring. 

I have incorporated the mythology into these drawings.
