Introduction post - Looking forward to some Music on Hive
### Intro

Hi all, just arrived here so I am very new. Those notorious @stickupboys, that most people seem to know, convinced me to join Hive and get to know and share some music on here. I am not really sure what they have got me into, you never do know with those boys! However I am looking forward to my journey here and any advice would be greatly appreciated!

### About me

I was born in North London and am a musician, singer, writer and music producer. I started my music career running a studio for bands in Holborn, London while recording music there through the night I was eventually signed solo to A@M Records released one album and performed over Europe and England supporting Joan Armatrading and Level 42.

I then ran my own studio in London producing all kinds of music and working with all kinds of musicians and writers. I also do a lot of work for producing music for sync licensing projects for film and TV.

I currently run a studio, "Songs Need Sounds," facilitating upcoming singer/songwriters to create a contemporary sound for their songs, I also works with singers who cannot play an instrument, who may have the start of some song ideas - either melodies or lyrics. He can help play, arrange and develop these into full productions, while still writing and recording my own material.

### Highlight

I have done many things in my musical career but one of the highlights was getting a record deal with A@M and then going on the first the first tour supporting Joan Armatrading. We had our own van, our own driver, seeing Europe Having our equipment ready and set up. We also had a receptive musical audience and the deepest respect of Joan, who is an amazing artist! Although saying this I have also played with lots of very cool people!

### Why I love music

I love writing music because artistic expression beats the pursuit of money I like improving myself and seeing music come together like a painting when recording. I have worked with many, many musicians and writers over the years. Everyone has something to offer and alot of what i do is try and bring the best out of people when producing in the studio.

One of my favourite all time artists I come back to is Stevie Wonder. In spite of his physical handicap he makes joyous uplifting music - what a triumph!

### Instruments

I like them all and will give most things a go, bass drums keyboards and guitar - I guess singing is the best - as this involves the purest, most direct expression without any props. Having said that Drums is pretty enjoyable too!

## Why I came to Hive!

Apart from the persistence of those cheeky Stick Up Boys, i wanted to come to Hive for a number of reasons. The decentralisation of web 3.0 appeals to me especially as a content creator. I also wanted to share some of the music I make, I make music for the love it and have so many songs! I am also looking forward to maybe trying to mint NFTs but I am not sure about that although I have heard and looked at @nfttunz https://app.nfttunz.io/ with the boys. It has also been good to listen to some music from all around the world and I look forward to listening to more as I work out what Hive is all about!
