To Look or Not To Look Into the Camera? 1st Time to Fully Look Into The Lens - Glasses Off! [DTube Challenge]

When I started making videos, I didn't have my prescription sunglasses yet. So I had my normal glasses and I would look into the monitor to make sure I was in frame. This is the very first video where I'm actually looking into the lens. I believe it's a step in the right direction. What do you guys think? I will probably still wear my prescription glasses from time to time, but some of my videos will be me without them and I will make a practice of looking straight into the camera/lens.

I studied traditional film. Where, for obvious reasons, they teach you NOT to look into the camera. Imagine Jason Bourne with Matt Damon looking into the camera? Lol - yeah, wouldn't really work. There are some videos plays, where the audience/viewer is addressed directly, but not the way it's done in a vlog. Vlogs are personal. So they require a personal feel. And that requires eye contact.

Let me know in the comments below how you feel about it! Please please! I'd love to hear your feedback directly :)
