Hope everyone is having a great weekend!  

I took a trip to Wisconsin on Friday and came back with some early Spring photos.

My first photo is Apple River, which winds through the hills and tiny villages in West Central Wisconsin. 

The heart of this region is the Apple River.  In the summertime, this river livens up with "tubers" scattered in many parts of this river.   It's a nice destination on a hot summer day.

However, on this cool 38F day, there are not too many people around.   In fact, we've had a cold Spring with no end in sight, but it's just warm enough to get outdoors and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.   In my opinion, if nature gives you lemons, chances are you are in the Midwest, so you might as well make lemonade.

It's hard to believe kayaking season is only weeks away!
