Celebrate with Mimosas
Looking for a great celebratory drink that works in the morning or the evening? How about a drink with citrus and champagne? Mimosas, the classic brunch drink should be in everyone’s drink making repertoire. And with two ingredients, there is no reason you can’t make yourself a mimosa.

For each mimosa, you will need 8 ounces of champagne. I used a pink champagne in this rendition to add a splash of contrasting color. You will also need 6 ounces of orange juice. Pour first the orange juice into a fluted glass, then the champagne. Garnish with raspberries or orange slices.

For kids, or those abstaining, substitute the champagne for sparkling grape juice or apple juice. Mimosas are great for the many variations you can make on the simple recipe. For instance, a splash of peach or mango juice makes it even more fruity and delicious. Adding a splash of grenadine makes for a colorful and sweet drink.
